A luxurious VIPs transfer aboard a French presidential car around Bordeaux !
Elegance and French Excellence in the Médoc!
In October 2021, a group of 4 wine professionals reserved our presidential Citroën DS for a very privileged transfer, from Château du Tertre at Margaux to Château Pontet-Canet at Pauillac, where they were received by the owners for a private dinner.
Our DS Limousine Convertible of 1973 is equipped with a minibar. We offered their favorite champagne: a Ruinart rosé, that we served at the ideal temperature.
We cruised on the Route des Châteaux on this beautiful autumn evening, hair in the wind.
They discovered the incredible comfort of the DS with its legendary hydro-pneumatic suspension and very soft leather seats.
The vineyards at sunset, and the Chateaux Grands Crus Classés that parade along the route, did seduced them: "This is our best day of the year" they said.
After their dinner, they insisted on driving with the top down. They enjoyed the fresh air, the spectacle of the starry sky, and the silence in the vineyards at this late hour of the night. They chose this rare moment to treat themselves to one last pleasure: a Montecristo cigar.
We were forced to decline their offer to buy our DS, but we promised to welcome them back for their next trips to Bordeaux. See you soon Gentlemen!
